YiPMade Update

14 February 2019
43 new YiPMade students have graduated in Lilongwe and gained new vocational skills such as welding. The students are a varied groups and include young ex-prisoners as well as youth with albinism. A group that is highly marginalised in Malawi. Great work by our partner Music Croassroads Malawi.

In the same week Freedom Lamp #41 found its owner Robert de Haas, former board member of Jobena Foundation. In 2016 Jobena financialy supported Gered Gereedschap to convert 2 containers into full fledged YiPmade workshop spaces with welding and metalwork tools. To be used by our partner.
